「金融政策研究を通じ、物価安定と金融システム安定の両立を探求。日本銀行での30年以上におよぶ調査研究の経験を基に、物価計測の問題に取り組みました。金融政策においても理論と実践双方の視点の重要性を説き金融論を教えています。」
“I explore the balance between price stability and financial system stability through monetary policy research. Based on my experience in analysis and research for more than 30 years at the Bank of Japan, I worked on the issue of price measurement. I also advocate the importance of having both perspectives of theory and practice in monetary policy when teaching monetary economics.”
