「たとえば、多数決は票割れや多数派の意志を反映しない問題がある不完全な制度。数理経済学の技術を用い物事を定式化して定理として示すこと。選挙制度やオークションの設計など社会の仕組みや制度を、関数やアルゴリズムを用いてデザインします。」
“For example, majority voting is an imperfect system that splits votes and does not reflect the will of the majority. I use the techniques of mathematical economics to analyze systems, formalize ideas, and prove them as theorems. I use functions and algorithms to design mechanisms and systems in society, such as voting systems and online auctions.”
