In this video, native American speaker reads short stories. The speed of the conversations is a bit slow to standard speed, making them ideal for listening practice for English learners. This listening series consists of recordings based entirely upon the "human voices" of native English speakers. A majority of listening practice videos, which imitate ours, use synthetic voices. However, for listening practice via synthetic voices, there are many instances where a liaison is unnatural. Thus, we do not recommend such a method of listening practice. For liaisons in the English language, listening to a natural human voice is the most effective method of listening practice.
