I work through an example of finding power of a 1 sample proportion z test which is 2 sided. I added some annotations to the language of my examples. Defining the variable: P: The population proportion of people that travel during the holidays. Normality: With 350(.68)=238 and 350(1-.68)=112 being greater than or equal to 10, the sampling distribution of sample proportions will be approximately Normal.
