Basic Number Properties for Algebra

Before we dive into solving all kinds of equations, we want to just quickly go over some number properties and how they will apply to algebraic expressions just like they did for arithmetic ones. Most of these will be familiar, like the commutative and associative properties, as well as the distributive property, but they will become even more important in algebra.
